The Florence Lions Club was founded in 1948 and has been serving the local community ever since. Through the years this club has had many types of community service. Currently we sponsor local sports teams, host an annual golf outing, run Texas Hold'em tournaments and collect in front of stores during our white cane campaign. We continue to support many charities that benefit our local community. Our main focus is eyesight and eyesight related charities. We assisted over 100 people last year that could not afford eye exams or eye glasses.
